Furla, in collaboration with the Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice and MAMbo, with the support of Carisbo S.p.A., founded the Premio Furla award to support contemporary Italian artists. Over the years it has won recognition and prestige in cultural circles. The Fondazione Furla is the result of a long cultural and planning process begun by the company in 2000 with the launch of the Premio Furla per l’Arte award.

The Fondazione's history is creatively retraced through the works of the artists with whom it has collaborated. One of its major events "Mona Hatoum-Interior Landscape" exhibition (June-September 2009) was organised in Venice in collaboration with the Fondazione Querini Stampalia.

The itinerant project "Candy-brissima Show" has confirmed the lasting collaboration with the artist Sissi. The close synergy created with the artists has led them to be involved in the creative concept of the latest Furla advertising campaigns, stimulating a new approach to the product and to communication. Sissi herself, the winner of the Premio Furla in 2002 and the star of the Spring-Summer 2010 campaign, lent her talent to the Spring-Summer 2012 campaign as Art Director.
