The Porsche Design Studio designs products to make life easier and more beautiful. The Lebenshilfe (Life Aid) organization in Salzburg also strives to make life more beautiful. It helps people with mental disabilities find work to promote social integration and enrich their lives with meaningful work. Together with students from the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, in 2010 the Porsche Design Studio designed a line of products that is manufactured by people with mental disabilities. The result is a collection that is timeless and striking at once that includes furniture, lamps and accessories of quality craftsmanship and purist aesthetics. With Life Aid and the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, the Porsche Design Studio has found a new way to express its social commitment.
