Spring 2013 advertising campaign – Unconventional Chic
The Lacoste Spring 2013 campaign features renowned model Karlie Kloss. The campaign is photographed by David Sims with shapely styling by Jane How for the new season. For the campaign Lacoste revisits its 80 year old archives to create original all-over prints that are inspired by iconic elements of the crocodile brand. Delicate silhouettes and comfortable luxury rooted in pure whites are the must have for the season. Asymmetrical color blocks in a playful mix of pearly grey’s, pale yellows and light blues add the sporty edge to jersey basics. Candy stripes in all sizes and shades are the color story for basics at the beach – time for sweet fun in the sun.
In 2005, LACOSTE’s new advertising campaign ‘Un peu d'air sur terre’ was launched presenting the LACOSTE Fall/Winter 2005-06 collection. BETC- HAVAS Group – advertising agency in Paris was asked to delve into the heart of the brand to express LACOSTE style in its own way and turned to photographer, David Sims, to illustrate this new concept.
In 2011, LACOSTE launched its new International Global Communication Campaign. Taking inspiration from the legacy of René Lacoste’s inimitable style, the campaign translates it into a new brand slogan and a new communication concept: UNCONVENTIONAL CHIC.
