Amanda Wakeley launched her signature label.

In 1992, she was awarded her first British fashion award for glamour.

1993
Amanda was awarded the British fashion award for glamour in this 1993 also.

1996
Amanda co-chaired the committee for the Fashion Targets Breast Cancer Appeal and has helped to raise over £10m to date. Amanda continues to raise awareness and funds for numerous charities. Amanda was awarded the British fashion award for glamour, 1996.

1998
In 1998 Amanda designed the workdress for 80,000 BT employees.

2000
June 2000, her company was acquired by the International Clothing Designs Ltd. and with the strength of ICD behind her, an ambitious expansion strategy has begun, which includes ready-to-wear, bridal collections and other lines in 40 stockists worldwide.

2001
In 2001, a European community trademark registration was filed for AMANDA WAKELEY by Amanda Wakeley (Holdings) Limited. Amanda launched her bridal collection –Sposa- in 2001 that caters for a diverse clientele including celebrities and socialites, with many international brides travelling to the UK specifically for that perfect ‘Amanda Wakeley dress’.

2004
The F/W 2004 collection was presented at the posh Bryant Park Hotel

2006 - 2007
Launched A/W 2006 -2007 which was inspired by a strong spirited, mysterious and yet utterly glamorous woman with more than a touch of Du Maurier's Rebecca De Winter,"

2009
2009 marks the return of Amanda as the key owner and designer of her Amanda Wakeley label at the capital’s foremost fashion event.

2010
Amanda was awarded an OBE from HRH the Prince of Wales for her services to the fashion industry on 16th February 2010. This year also saw the launch of eagerly awaited Camilla Skovgaard for Amanda Wakeley shoe collection.

2011
This year marks Amanda Wakeley’s debut line of bags.

2012
In September 2012 Amanda Wakeley secured a significant financial investment from specialist private equity firm AGC Equity Partners. The investment marks a major milestone following the restructuring of the business by its founder only three years ago. The funds will be used to develop Amanda Wakeley as a luxury lifestyle brand.
