Masumi Mewawalla | Meraki
What: Autumn-winter festive/ bridal collection for men and women
USP: The collection is a fine marriage of traditional Indian embroidery, rich fabrics, and progressive silhouettes.
For women, the palette ranges from opulent blues, greens, and burgundy to greys, whites, nudes and hints of blush. The three dimensional floral motifs and checkered patterns are hand-embroidered in hues of rose gold using rare artisanal techniques perfected over generations. The bold silhouettes incorporate cold shoulders, choker collars and off-the-shoulder cuts. The highlight of the collection is the tie-up skirt with an audacious slit, adding intrigue and flamboyance to traditional wedding attire.
For men, the collection stands out in its regal simplicity. The range comprises jodhpuris, sherwanis and dhotis. The use of royal colours and vintage rose gold embroidery beautifully complement the look.
