APPAREL COLLECTION
Sixties vintage echoes and a sophisticated element combo, different lines and materials define the 2013-14 Autumn Winter Fornarina Apparel collection.

The generous volumes, knee-high items, fabrics and patters masterly feature some of the distinctive traits of the sixties, while contemporary details give a boyish style, more specifically in the jacket/trouser matches, the classic white shirts and the printed t-shirts featuring details inspired by men’s fashion.

The collection is divided into three inspiration themes.

PSYCHEDELIC DANDY

The first mood is PSYCHEDELIC DANDY, including tartan prints and micro geometrical patters that blend well on tweed, while the jacquard prints, brocade and dévoré velvet give a bohemian touch to the items. The colour palette rests upon autumn overtones such as rust, olive green, loden and cherry, which combine perfectly on soft and comfortable items such as the woollen duffel coat, the dressy shirts and cloaks.

GRAPHIQUE

Minimal with character, the second mood is GRAPHIQUE. It features bright colour blocks, from citron yellow, red and purple. The eclectic and playful approach includes large hound’s tooth jackets, geometrical or crocodile prints on mini dresses. Black is everywhere and brightens up with eco leather details or combines with lurex in the structure-shouldered shirts, and finally, it is a must-have in the plissé plated wrap skirt.

GIRLS MEET BOYS

Technical and natural, oversize and superslim, extremely feminine in terms of structures and elements, opposite are drawn together in the GIRLS MEET BOYS boyish style. The contemporary woman is clad in a total black tuxedo, with a signature white cotton shirt, slender lines and a biker mood; she chooses technical and fashion material such as scuba jersey, without giving up delicate lace or gritty laser-finished leather. The sophisticated style is also applied to bijoux, printed on t-shirts and mini dresses or applied, giving shine to a gritty and sexy mood.

The Fornarina 2013-14 Fall Winter connection is all about en vogue women, who are well aware of their feminine appeal but also want the right amount of irony.

DENIM COLLECTION

The collection draws inspiration from vintage 70's through the use of geometric prints or camouflage reloaded. It preferred an urban look with trench, shirt and trousers, with attention for comfort and femininity. The night time is characterized by kimono prints tunics or fashion styles, with lace appliqués and leather, illuminated by studs and rhinestones.

Geometric patterns, irregular dots and animal prints, are developed in the color stories composed by solid colors like mustard, burgundy, blue both royal and neon, violet and emerald. In the graphic, the prints recreate a Jungle wild urban style.

Key styles of the collection are the t-shirt, with large volumes as the square t-shirt or various heights for the tunic and high-low t-shirt. The season must have is the shirt, classically structured but full of fashion details, chains, lace and bi-color. It has a vintage and distressed look. Cracks, patches, chains, vintage leather, suede inserts, roll-up with printed fabric inside creates a new Western style. The treated product makes use of laser technologies and 3D for moving the denim throughout its length.

The research and experimentation is focused on ECO washes or ultra soft and fashion fabrics. Fornarina Perfect Shape project continues, with a twice elastic capability and high performance in the return to the original shape.

SPORTGLAM COLLECTION

Fornarina presents the new Sport Glam FW 13-14 collection, to impress with an International, high visual impact project. Super glamour as always, the collection masterly combines trendy details and technology taken from the most advanced sport shoes, as it charms with ultra pop colour palette and re-visits the classic models in a perfect balance between sport and glam.

International, unconventional, unexpected and exquisitely pop, the Fornarina SportGlam collection for the upcoming winter is targeted at contemporary globetrotter, the true protagonists of the cities and fashion of the coming years.

FUNLIGHT is the collection’s hero, a hi-fashion sneaker that stands out for an unprecedented mix of forms, material and colours for the true urban fashion icon. An explosive mix of state-of-the-art technology solutions and groundbreaking style details.

The sole is made of very light nylon; its jagged silhouette allows for more flexibility and grip, while the disc lace system ensures perfect fastening. The soft suede upper combines definitely pop bright colours to cavallino leather, spotted and camouflage patterns.

BRITT is the Fornarina Sportglam wedge that mixes a glam attitude to the sporty taste of a basketball sneaker. The eva 10-cm wedge features a rubber sole, while the upper is definitely glamour thanks to gross grain details matched with suede and nylon, or in the micro-sequin camouflage version.

DAILY takes inspiration from the iconic rubber-soled nineties sneakers with a definitely urban chic approach. A wide range of material and colours is seen from classic suede and nylon combo to ton-sur-ton leotard print and micro-sequin patent leather. The new feature of this line is a second re-visited version with a rather sporty look, made of nylon with the upper featuring silver or cavallino leather details.

KIMBRA is a double-soul ultra light wedge. In its dress version it takes the form of a worn or laminated leather ankle boot or lace up with the upper made of braided leather with studs. The sport chic version, though, is inspired by basketball and is definitely super cool, with the off white wedge, pop colour matches and wide Velcro bands for fastening.

LIESEL is a suede and eco fur boot with internal wedge and natural rubber square sole, for a comfy and natural everyday look.

NICKY is a nineties-inspired sneaker with a playful single-block sole, multi-colour bands and a lather upper that plays with absolutely trendy pop colour contrasts. The shiny gold and silver leather glam version is simply irresistible.
