1973- Pierre Cardin receives the "Basilica Palladiana",a prize given every year to a successful Venetian.

1974 -Pierre Cardin receives the "EUR",which is an Italian Oscar award,given for his varied activities in the world of show-business.

1975-Opening of the Design Boutique,29 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore-Paris 8e.

1976-Another boutique 72,rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore-Paris.8e. In the same year Pierre was awarded with the Italian decoration of "Commander of the Order of Merit".

1977 -Pierre Cardin receives the Gold Thsimble of French Haute-Couture made by Cartier,and that rewards the most creative collection of the season. In the same he presented his very first collection of haute couture furniture,"Utilitarian Sculptures". His gallery "Evolution" at the 118 rues du Faubourg Saint-Honore-Paris. Pierre's very known Maxim's Boutique selling products under the name Maxim's.

1978-Awarded the certificate "Prestige Tourism" for those contributes to the development of French tourism. The same year witnessed opening of two boutiques "Maxim's Homme de la Nuit" at 82 rues du Faubourg Saint-Honore and 5 rue Royale-Paris. In December he made his first trip to China.

1979-For the second time awarded the Gold Thimble of French Haute-Couture for his Spring/Summer collection. Fashion shows were held in Beijing and Shanghai. Maxim's Flower Boutique was opened in the same year. He opened the first fruit shop of Maxim's.

Opening-ladies dressing rooms at the Hotel de Clermont-Tonnerre. Pierre opened children's boutique in the Palais des Congres-Porte Maillot,Paris. He also came with a men's ready-to-wear show room in Paris.

In New York,Pierre Cardin celebrates thirty years of design at the Metropolitan Museum and opens a new office building-53 East 57th Street. In Belgium,Pierre Cardin opens an art gallery 47,boulevard de Waterloo-Brussels. The same year two new boutiques were opened in Sofia,Bulgaria.

1981- For the launching of Maxim's in Germany,Pierre Cardin gives a dinner at the French Ambassador's Residence in Bonn where he presents his dinner suits and ladies evening wear under the Maxim's de Paris label. The Maxim's Restaurant: on the 4th Pierre Cardin takes control and ownership of the famous restaurant,rue Royale-Paris. "Choc" a perfume for women was launched the same year. Men's new line Maxim's was launched at the dinner. Pierre travelled all through the South America and visited countries such as Argentina,Brazil,and Mexico. Pierre's 30 years retrospective of designs was presented at the Grand Palais museum's "The Autumn Salon". The same year he launched Espace Baths and also launched the very same year car seats for the Renault 9.

In China in the Sky Temple gardens Pierre opened his showroom in the city of Beijing,very close to the Marco Polo Center. "Gold and Diamonds" was launched at the Hotel Clermont-Tonnerre,,his jewelry collection. Maxim's boutique was opened in Rome,Italy in the same year. A gala dinner for Mrs. Kiri te Kanawa was thrown at the Maxim's in Paris. Pierre opened Maxim's in the main square of Brussels. Japan's Sogetsu Kakain Museum,presented a general 30 years retrospective of Pierre Cardin design. An exclusive showroom opened in Barcelona to exhibit Pierre Cardin and Maxim's products. Pierre Cardin is awarded his third Gold Thimble of the French Haute- Couture in the year 1981.

Pierre launched Maxim's champagne. The very same year he is made the Knight of the wine "Ordre des Coteaux de Champagne". A new line of knitting wool is launched with Pierre Cardin label. An exhibition is held on the style of the French 1890's "La Belle Epoque" at the New York's Metropolitan Museum,along with a dinner at the Maxim's stylish restored decor. In the presence of the Chinese officials Maxim's launched in Beijing. The same year Flower boutique moves to 7,Rue Royale. In the year 1983 Minim's restaurant opens at 76 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore-Paris. Pierre Cardin is decorated as Knight Des Arts et des Lettres.

The same year he makes his first ever trip to Moscow. In the April of 1983 he is made the Knight of the Legion d'Honneur. Budapest gets its first Pierre Cardin boutique and Beijing gets a Maxim's restaurant. Pierre also opens up Maxim's in Rio,Brazil. The year is 1984 and Pierre Cardin opens a boutique in London. Same year in July he opened Minim's restaurant opens in Beijing completed with a bakery.

In the year 1985 an all new and exclusive line of Pierre Cardin Dolls was launched. The same year a German company Hutschenteuther begins a line of Maxim's porcelaine. Pierre receives the prize of most creative man in Milano,Ascot Brun. Maxim's perfume for ladies is also launched in the same year. Pierre Cardin is named Commander of the Order of Merit by the President of the French Republic. Pierre visits China for Fashion Shows the same year. Maxim's restaurant opens up in New York. At the Paris Opera,Pierre Cardin is awarded the Fashion Oscar. The same year Pierre is also awarded with the Golden Orchid for Maxim's. Maxim's Hotel opens in Palm Spring,California-the first in the American chain opened by Pratt. He also signs a contract with Russia for local manufacture of ladies,men's and children's ready-to-wear and the opening of a 10.000 mz showroom in 1987.

The same year a ship Maxim's des Mers,with her maiden voyage to New-York for the Statue of Liberty celebrations is launched. Residence of Maxim's Hotel is opened in Paris and the next year Residence Maxim's Hotel opens in New York. Maxim's bar on the second floor at the Maxim's restaurant is inaugurated. The Haute Couture moves to the Hotel Clermont-Tonnerre,14 Place Francois 1er -Paris. In the February of the same year Pierre is awarded with the Grand Order of Merit by the Italian Republic.

A new perfume,Maxim's for Men is launched at the Maxim's restaurant in Paris. He also visits the Far East and is received by six heads of State :

-His Royal Highness Sultar Azlan Shah of Malaysia

1989: Italian minister,Mr. Giulio Andreotti decorates Pierre Cardin with the medal,"La Fondation des Thermes de Fiuggi". His contribution to the interior design is awarded in New York. In the year 1990 Pierre Cardin receives the Palmes of the Royal Catalan Fine Arts Academy at San Jordi in Spain. "Rose Cardin",a perfume for women is launched the same year. Publication of the Maxim's book One Hundred Years of Parisian Life "Cent ans de Vie Parisienne" is out in the market. The Victoria and Albert Museum in London exhibits in its 20th century Gallery a Pierre Cardin retrospective collection of 40 years of ladies fashion and 30 years of men's fashion,was also on the exhibition.

1991- Opening of the Maxim's Residence II and an Italian restaurant "Le Cirque" at 20 rue du Cirque-Paris. The same year he is made the Honorary Ambassador of UNESCO. For UNESCO Pierre designs a medal and jewelry pieces for the profit of the organization's TCHERNOBYL programme. Pierre is promoted to the Officer of the Legion of Honor in the same year. Pierre's retrospective of ladies and men's fashion of 40 years is being exhibited at the Fine art Museum in Montreal. Pierre Cardin receives the Gold & Silver Star of the Japanese order of the sacred treasure; this is the highest honor from the Japanese. Pierre Cardin holds his fashion show in the Red Square,Moscow in front of 200.000 people.

1992-Pierre Cardin accepts a seat in the Academy of Fine Arts at the French Institute. A perfume for men is launched named 'Enigme". The official ceremony of acceptance at the Academy of Fine Arts is held during the same year.

1993-Pierre Cardin introduces a new cosmetics range.

A second Maxim's restaurant opens in Beijing. Pierre Cardin holds his first fashion show in Viet Nam (Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi).

1994- Retrospective in Sao Paulo and Haute Couture fashion show. Pierre Cardin meets for the first time Fidel Castro in Cuba. Pierre Cardin is made Silk Baron during a visit to Krefeld in Germany. During his 21st trip to China,Pierre Cardin is made Honorary Citizen of the town of Xian,ex-imperial capital. The Pierre Cardin Fashion and Design Center within the Institute of Textile Science and Technology is opened. Pierre Cardin celebrates the 1200 years anniversary of the ex-Imperial town of Kyoto in Japan with a fashion show presenting 40 years of design in the Sen Yuji Imperial Temple.

1995- The opening of a boutique and restaurant Maxim's in Moscow,Russia. Pierre Cardin meets Nelson Mandela in South Africa. Pierre Cardin visits Burma for the first time. The first boutique is opened in Riga,Latvia. The launching of the latest women perfume in France,Ophelie is in the same year. The Espace Pierre Cardin hosts a three months long exhibition of paintings,sculptures,architecture,engravings and artistic creations in cinema and audiovisual,entitled "The Academy of Fine Arts Today". Russia,St. Petersburg gets its first Pierre Cardin boutique in the same year. Pierre Cardin visits Albania where he is received by the President of the Republic Sali Beresha. The launching of Ophelie in Riad et Dubai. Gallery Navarra; the six flags chosen by Mr Cardin for the Year of Tolerance of the UNESCO are exhibited. At Christmas,these flags were raised in Paris at the Place de la Concorde before being presented around the world.

1996- Pierre Cardin presents a ready to wear collection "EVOLUTION" in his new space "BLUE SKY",for the younger people (16-25 years). At Eilat (Israel),and Petra (Jordan),Pierre Cardin presents the six Flags of Tolerance to the international community. Pierre Cardin presents his last Haute-Couture collection at a private showing at Residence Maxim's in the presence of Mrs. Jacques Chirac,Mrs. Georges Pompidou and Mrs. Jean Tiberi. Pierre Cardin presents his last Haute-Couture collection at the American Embassy in Paris in the presence of Mrs. Pamela Harriman. Pierre Cardin is decorated as Ambassador Chancellor about O.M.I.R (Mediterranean Observatory for Information and Reflexion). On July,10th in Atlanta,USA,to celebrate the XXVI Olympic Games,Pierre Cardin presents a high fashion collection for men and women and a new sport collection. In the same time he launches "Sportif",a men perfume for the young American people and he inaugurates,"The Olympia Gods" the exhibition of the painter Daniel You. Pierre Cardin opens the first Maxim's smoking-room in Brussels,Belgium. Pierre Cardin presents his second ready to wear collection "BLUE SKY" for spring-summer

1997. The same year Golden Sand,self heating pads of sand are launched. He makes his first trip to Libya. Pierre Cardin men perfume,is launched,Centaure. Pierre Cardin receives the France-Italie Price 1996 given by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in France. 1997 -Pierre Cardin is decorated as Commandeur de la Legion d'Honneur. The Pierre Cardin exhibition of 50 years of creativity is held at the Espace Pierre Cardin. Auction sale of 8.000 wine bottles from the Maxim's cellar is held during the same year. Pierre Cardin opens the Minim's restaurant-7,rue Royale. Pierre Cardin presents his new ready-to-wear collection for men (spring-summer 1998). Cannes,France in this year gets a new Pierre Cardin store. Evolution ready-to-wear is presented in 1998 for spring/summer. Publication of the book The Swords of The Academy of Fine Arts at the French Institute,initiated by Pierre Cardin. Grand opening of the restaurant Atmosphere in the Residence Maxim's takes place. An all new Toyota car,a Rav 4,is launched with the Pierre Cardin label.

1998- Auction sale in New-York of 14.000 bottles of fine wines from Maxim's cellar. Evolution ready-to-wear collection for the autumn/winter 1998 is presented. The perfume "Orphee" is launched at Maxim's. He also came up with a boutique in Lyon,France. The same year launching of the boats "Maxim's" on the river Seine in Paris. Pierre Cardin is named Honorary Chairman of the International Dance Council. Pierre Cardin presents his new ready-to-wear collection for men and women (four seasons 1999). Pierre opens up a new children's boutique the same year. Again the Evolution presents its ready-to-wear collection for the Spring/Summer '99. Launching party for the Maxim's cigars at the Maxim's in Paris. Opening of the Evolution boutique-83,rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore 75008 Paris is in the same year also. Opening of the new Maxim's in Shanghai,China.

1999-Presentation of Evolution ready-to-wear collection for Autumn/Winter 1999. Opening of the new Maxim's in Geneva,Switzerland in the year 1999. Presentation of the Evolution ready-to-wear collection for Spring/Summer 1999.

2000-Launching of the nineteenth Maxim's in Monaco in the presence of the crown Prince Albert in the year 2000. Private view at the Espace Cardin of the furniture exhibitions of Pierre Cardin "Sculptures Utilitaires", is presented. A new magazine "Parfums et Senteurs" is launched. Fashion show and opening of the international creative concept at Saint-Ouen, in the year 2000. Presentation of the Pierre Cardin retrospective at Shanghai and Bejing, is done.

2001- Pierre Cardin welcomes Jeanne Moreau at the "Academie des Beaux-Arts". Pierre Cardin presents his new Men's ready-to-wear collection-Autumn/Winter 2001-2002. Pierre Cardin buys the Marquis de Sade castle ( Luberon ). Two new perfumes called "Tristan and Yseult " at the Espace Pierre Cardin are launched. Launching of the spectacle "La Legende Musical Tristan et Yseult "., the same year. Lacoste festival opens up the same year.. Party in memory of the " Marquis de Sade". Pierre Cardin receives the "Grand prix Licom" 2001, for the best licence.

2002-Pierre's retrospective are presented in Los Angeles. The same year a show was held for the last collection of Pierre's in Las Vegas. Maxim's compilation is launched in New York and it's also launched the very same year in Paris. This year witnesses the second of the Chateau Lacoste festival. Tokyo gets Pierre's retrospective exhibition, presenting his work of 50 years.

2003 -Pitti Uomo : Retrospective fashion show at the Palazzo Corsini (Firenze). Third season of the Chateau Lacoste's Festival is held.

2004 -Minsk: Pierre Cardin is decorated as the Order of the Frantsisk Skorina (the most prestigious reward of the Belarus State). "Revelation", a men's perfume is launched. At the Gallery Carla Sozzani, Milano the exhibition is held of the Retropspective. A tribute to Pierre Cardin at the department store "Printemps Haussmann" is given. Fashion show, exhibition the same year. is held. Chateau Lacoste festival celebrates its fourth season. The new Art Nouveau" museum" and the "SEM" exhibition is at the same time in the year 2004. Within the frame of the France-China Year (days of Happiness France-China), prize giving of the Pierre Cardin award at the Beijing People's Assembly takes place.

2005 -Launching of the new women's perfume "Emotion" in the year. Pierre also opens up a new line of "Sculpture's furniture evolution" at the exhibition and inaugurates at the St. Ouen concept 2. An exhibition and Inauguration of the years 1950-2005 mode and design, at Beaux-arts Academy, in Vienna is presented the same year. A retrospective exhibition is held in Athens, Greece. Chateau lacoste is in the fifth season by now.

2006 -Launching of the new man's perfume "Emotion". A Retrospective exhibition Men & Women is held in Athens, Greece; and a retrospective exhibition for men & women is held the same year in Istanbul, Turkey. Pierre Cardin presents his new Men's ready-to-wear collection-Spring/Summer 2007. This year is the sixth season of the Chateau lacoste festival. Pierre Cardin presents his new book "Pierre Cardin Evolution" at Artcurial, published by Flammarion. A new museum is opened at the St. Ouen , concept , named "Past-Present-Future".

2007 -Pierre receives the fashion award "CFDA" in New-York. Seventh season of the Chateau Lacoste's Festival .Pierre Cardin fashion show "Spring-summer 2008", in the Gobi desert, in China. Music show "Jo & Josephine" plays in the Theater of the "Concept Creatif Pierre Cardin", in Saint-Ouen. Pierre Cardin was awarded Commander Order of the cultural Merit from Monaco Principauty, in the Monaco Embassy, in Paris.

2008 -First Auction sell in Versailles of the SVV Pierre Cardin Auction Art, Remy Le Fur and Associates. Pierre Cardin receives the "Star Etoile" price from the SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design), in the French Embassy, in New-York. This year it's the eight season of the chateau lacoste festval. The year alos witnesses the opening of the tenth Maxim's restaurant in Pekin China. Choreographic show "Marco Polo" made by Marie-Claude Pietragalla, in Beijing's Opera .The new Pierre Cardin fashion show 2009, took place at Palais Bulles, in Theoule-sur-Mer .

2009 - Ninth season of the Chateau Lacoste's Festival .
