Performing concept
A casual mood as the recurring theme for the city, for everyday commitments and for sportier occasions. Moments of a contemporary lifestyle that Geox reworks for F/W 2012-2013 with its most characterizing traits - innovation, contemporary design, technology and its quintessential specialty - the patented breathing system.
The latter, in fact, is the protagonist of the Geox Performing Concept, a ground breaking technique that debuts this season: the innovative breathable system featured in the outerwear for men and women has been enhanced by utilising materials and padding designed for use in extreme weather conditions. The process employs a "2-layers" fabric featuring a waterproof, breathable and windproof membrane, coupled with an ultra-light and high-tech material that provides top performance in different climatic conditions. The jackets are usually padded with a thin Thermore layer to withstand intensive use while ensuring a high insulating power that helps maintain a constant body temperature. For fall, the concept springs to life via black outerwear in long or cropped versions and enriched with numerous details - hoods, patch pockets, fur trims and zips.
Blu Geox
The launch of BLUGEOX, an innovative and contemporary jeans line for men and women that bows for F/W 2012-2013, marks Geox's foray in the denim world.
For the occasion, Geox has teamed up with Turkey-based ISKO, one of the world's largest and most avant-garde denim producers with 70 engineers working on R&D and over 25.000 fabrics developed.
The ingrained philosophy to constantly push research, shared by the two companies, has resulted in exclusive new BLUGEOX fabrics and fibers: Pop Fabrics, characterized by supple and easy care cottons with a worn out feeling that are comfortable yet body sculpting and the T400 fiber that provides a greater and longer lasting stretch that also boasts a softer and smoother hand compared to the textured stretch yarns on the market.
BLUGEOX further testifies Geox's commitment to penetrate the contemporary market with coherent, plausible and technology-driven projects that cater to international customers seeking style, comfort and design, alongside value for their money.
Five pocket jeans declined in different fits, dyes and washes characterize the new BLUGEOX collection, infused with all of Geox's key traits, plus attention to details and price.
Fits include slim, regular (men and women), bootleg (women) and tapered (men) available in washes that include normal rinses, vintage washes and numerous super-stoned or dirty washes in colorings spanning sky to ink blue, shimmering greys to deep blacks.
Details include printed waistbands, colored stitched selvedge and innovative, soft sliding and eco-friendly zips. That don't resent of sudden temperature changes. Originally invented and patented for military apparel, this zip offers exceptional performance even under extreme conditions. Tested in the desert heat and sandstorms of the Sahara, as well as the extreme cold of polar expeditions, it is always completely reliable.

Capsule Collection designed by Patrick Cox
This exclusive capsule collection was launched last spring, marking the start of an ongoing collaboration between GEOX and Patrick Cox, to develop footwear collections for men and women that meld elements of active sportswear and big city life with innovative materials and a cutting edge design.
In that light, the new capsule collection spotlights a modern and relaxed feel and host of quirky treatments and colorings applied to redesigns of timeless classics. Metallized leathers in silver, bronze or fuchsia add zest to medium heeled loafers, Derby styles and wedged boots or laced up versions, all infused with a distinctive British beat.
On a different note, the studded version of the laced wedge conveys a tougher edge while the sneakers in tonal combinations of browns have a more retro undercurrent. Rainy style models complete the collection
