SHOE OBSESSION at The Museum at FIT: In February-April 2013, Valerie Steel will be hosting a major exhibition entitled Shoe Obsession (February-April 2013) at The Museum at FIT. Shoe Obsession will feature about 100 of the most extravagant and fashionable shoe styles of the past decade, and will explore why we love shoes so much. The exhibition will be accompanied by a lavishly illustrated book, to be published by Yale University Press.

Alberto Guardiani will be participating in this exhibition with its iconic “It Shoe,” the Lipstick Heel, and the Cinderthriller International Design Contest winner, the Flutterby Shoe.
