Born in 1952, Alberto Guardiani inherited his passion for the craft of shoemaking directly from his father Dino, who had founded the family company in 1947. Elegant taste, artisanal rigor, attention to detail is all concepts that he assimilated in the home environment from a very young age. Yet other, perhaps more important values such as sense of sacrifice, courage and responsibility that through the years have proven essential to his success. This is the context in which Alberto Guardiani grew up and came of age, joining the firm and then taking full control when just twenty years old. Both creative soul and chairman of Nuova Centauro S.r.l., parent company which owns the Alberto Guardiani brand, he personally supervises every phase of the business, from creative design and development to shoe production and distribution. He is married to Rossella Beato, his important assistant and sales director. They have three daughters - Guya, Rubina and Serena - all of whom have begun working for the company.
