Gucci Fake Not
What: Autumn-winter 2020-21 fashion collection for men
USP: The collection draws inspiration from the appropriation of logos that began in the early ’80s and became part of the language of streetwear. ‘Gucci Fake Not’ is Alessandro Michele’s irreverent and ironic homage to the institutional code of the brand: the logo. Slightly oversized white or black washed cotton t-shirts have a retro sporty look on account of the bicolour stripe in red-green running down the middle of the front and back, with the words FAKE on the front and NOT on the back, in yellow.
