Autumn/Winter 2013
The campaign was Cinematic, dramatic and atmospheric, which will unfold over the coming months.
The story is set at two iconic London venues steeped in history and performance; The Savoy Theatre and the Royal Opera House, which both perfectly captured the spirit of the campaign.
The campaign itself features shots in the theatre among the sumptuous seating to sat at the piano in the clean, bright rehearsal studios, and their Womenswear collection lends itself so beautifully to these mood-evoking settings.
Complementing the rich backdrop, the collection was styled with both simplicity and glamour in mind. Layering was key, with contrasting textures worn on top of one another. From a little lace dress with a fur stole, to a sharply-tailored checked suit and a wool coat over the shoulders. While the subdued and stylish colour palette and prints blur beautifully, blending in with the lush surroundings.
Menswear reflects this feel, where the man of the season, The Journeyman, was the strong and thoughtful character there, but it was his clothes which took the centre stage.
From tuxedo suits shot in the theatre’s box, to wool blazers on stage and a timeless camel overcoat and hat, the man had individual presence, but also a poetic duality with the woman throughout.
