Pal Zileri Fall Winter Campaign 2013/2014
The campaign has rituals of style that express moments and occasions, perfect combinations and impeccable details, elegance interpreted as tradition and as a sense of belonging. The inspiration for the new Pal Zileri Fall Winter Campaign 2013/2014 can be found within the confines of these sensations. It is a collection inspired by easy virtue, the film interpreted by Colin Firth, set in the world of the upper middle class in the 1930s, in beautiful English countryside strewn with neoclassical villas.
The Pal Zileri Fall Winter collection 2013/14 has the roots of the label imbedded in every piece. The choice of colours delineates three main themes: anthracite grey with contrasts in wine, which veers towards medium grey shades mixed with beige and antique pink, naples blue mixed with purple and mud, with inflections in the softest shades of light blue, blended with pearl grey and cream, dark brown softened with purple to reach light beige, washed lilac and cream. The silhouette has been updated with sartorial taste, restyled to offer wider and higher lapels with 7 mm stitching, deconstructed shirt-style shoulder, short jacket and trousers with bottom. Coherent with 1930s English style, the jackets are cashmere, or wool mixed with cashmere and silk: precious textiles personalized with coloured trim highlights. Light textures are also used in the formal jackets, to give a soft look.
The suits are in exclusive fabrics - all Made in Biella - with yarns ranging from 130’s to 180’s. The decisive choice of graphic designs offers strong motifs, coloured yarns and pinstripe patterns, windowpane and large Prince of Wales checks with Hopsack structure.
The same search for individuality lies behind collaboration with the famous Italian woollen mill Fratelli Tallia di Delfino (founded in 1903), to create a fabric for suits and blazers exclusively for Pal Zileri. A yarn capable of the following movements of body offering incomparable comfort, also due to an extraordinary combination of properties that can make it waterproof, breathable, antibacterial and crease-resistant. The linings are also original, adding value to jackets and coats with plays of materials, colours and compositions coordinated in the same regimental style as the shirts. The new “SILK TOUCH” label on shirts identifies tightly-woven noble fabrics with extra-fine 120 compact threads.
