The concept of the boutique was created by Ennio Capasa who focused on a succession of graphic signs and clean lines to emphasize the essence of the space. Irregular shelves in extra light glass and suspended rails, in chrome mirrored steel, create geometric shapes. The store has two windows divided into 9 portions that vary in height between three and six meters. Natural light plays a key role in defining the boutique and emphasizing the product. Special editions of the iconic accessories of the brand will be exclusively available and a Royal customer service will be dedicated to the customers of the boutique. The opening of the CoSTUME NATIONAL stores in Hong Kong, represent a very important step into the future of the brand.

Headquarters- Glasshouse
CoSTUME NATIONAL has its headquarters in Milan in the "Navigli" district, occupying a restored factory from the sixties. It's a white space, perfectly in accordance with the style of the Maison.

The top floor of the headquarters features the Glass House, an architectural and urban project realized by Ennio Capasa. The Glass House, a transparent roof garden built with simple white beams which overlook the street outside, combine nature and technologies. The headquarter hosts direction, commercial department, press office and atelier.

Flagships Stores
CoSTUME NATIONAL reinvents its boutique offering an essential-chic concept where the color white dominates. The design of the store was entirely created by Ennio Capasa who focused on the contrast between graphic signs and clean lines to emphasize the essentiality of the space. Irregular shelves made of extra light glass and suspended rails in chrome steel match with the white Crystal marble floor and to walls that are drawn in chalk. The light, as in an art gallery, has a key role in defining the space and highlighting the products. The door has been significantly widened and now presents two sheets of glass at the sides that double as showcase. Costume National’s opens flagship store in Soho, New York this year.

AoYAMA - New CoSTUME NATIONAL flagship store opens in Tokyo
"Since the beginning of my career Japan has played a key role in my life as a man and as a designer. The Aoyama Complex represents the future, taking the concept of boutique one step ahead and offering a lifestyle experience where art, leisure and fashion find the perfect balance in one space. Costume National is greatly represented through the gallery, the store and the cafè, the complete Costume National experience." Ennio Capasa.

The Aoyama boutique goes beyond the simple concept of store, offering to its clientele the opportunity to live the CoSTUME NATIONAL lifestyle. The building is developed on three floors and the ground floor is divided in three different spaces: the boutique, the art gallery (CNAC Lab) and a lounge area (CNAC Wall).

Wall:
For the exclusive lounge bar Ennio Capasa chooses to collaborate with Patrick Blanc, French botanist and artist, who invented the vertical garden. His majestic artwork is placed behind the cafè. The installation represents the relationship between the Costume National aesthetic, art and nature.

Lab:
A gallery dedicated to contemporary art will be the stage of architecture, design and video art installations. The opening exhibit is curated by Ryuji Nakamura, one of the leading names of the young generation of architects of the Tokyo scene, and it showcases 25 years of Costume National through the garments worn by the most influential celebrities.
