Prêt-a-Porter Fall-Winter 2013/14
The advertising campaign of the Prêt-a-Porter Fall-Winter 2013/14 was shot in the premises of IMPERIA TOWER. The Ivy League is an informal association of the top eight universities in North America including Harvard, Princeton and Yale. The League members’ campuses are not only schools of the elites but student fraternities with their wild partying, intense varsity struggle and ‘not-for-mere-mortals’ red carpet receptions.
Igor Chapurin’s new collection combines soft form sport jackets with waist-conscious cocktail dresses thus creating different in their mood ever-dynamic images. Asymmetry is becoming one of the ‘League’ main features, which is reflected in a cut of the suits and dresses. The designer mixes long coats and graphical pencil skirts, boldly blends a classic man’s suit element - brutal lapels - into his feminine dresses. The idea of the collection is reflected in the colour palette. The designer uses shades of the basic colours of university graduates uniforms: beige, off-white, graphitic, black and purple. Dynamism and charisma of the League’s elite community is expressed by flashes of rich scarlet.
Highly professional teams of CLARINS and Toni&Guy took care of the collection’s idea to be embodied in the catwalk make-up and hair. Among the guests on the show were Svetlana Bondarchuk, Ravshana Kurkova, Alla Werber, Maria Fedorova, Yana Churikova, Snezhana Georgieva, Aurora, Nyusha, Valeriya and Iosif Prigozhin, Marianna Maximovskaya, Alisa Khazanova, Ida Lolo and many others.
