Women’s wear
...............................................................................................................................................................................
Building on the essence of the classic blocks, this season’s collection is all about refined details. This is achieved through carefully balancing between new ideas and classics, so that the original elegance remains whilst incorporating a refreshing touch. For example, classic Qi Paos are decorated with silk or chiffon sheer sleeves to form a flowing silhouette that accentuates the body figure.

Classic dao pieces are pleated to form pulsating texture, adding a visual sensation to the collection. Elsewhere, capes - short ones, are designed asymmetrically, along with others cut at calf-length with detachable padded linings - are the must have pieces for this season. The different pieces of the collection are thoughtfully designed, capable of adapting to different occasions in modern lifestyle needs.

Interactivity continues to be the backbone of the "Yi" (meaning “change” in Chinese) collection where a piece of garment can be worn in several ways to suit different needs. For example, a reversible coat with a water repellant side, can effectively shield the body against unexpected drizzles during the winter months.  Other “Yi” collection pieces also include a padded vest that can be folded into a pouch; and a two-piece set that can either be worn together as one piece, or separately as a top and a jacket. These will undoubtedly come in handy for frequent travelers.

The use of fine wools, plush cashmere, smooth leather silk and glitzy sequins for formal evening dresses form the core textures of the season. All in all, the women’s wear collection gives the classics a thoughtful twist in flavour, whilst maintaining our luxurious elegance.

Menswear

Creating variations of the very iconic Zhong Shan suit is not an easy task, but with open collars, asymmetrically decorated lapels and accented plackets, they are able to add diversity and excitement to the men’s’ wardrobe.

They have also employed the technique of “blocking” to some of their men’s’ structured jackets, by juxtaposing of harmonious colours together, or through the combination of complimenting fabrics to achieve an intriguing visual effect. This season, the all-time favourite shawl collar design is featured in luxurious velvet.

True to the luxury and sophistication of Blanc de Chine, a variety of delicate fabric is used, such as wool and cashmere to provide a lavish sensuality. Meanwhile both knit and woven fabrics are incorporated to suit different needs and occasions.

To sum up, their menswear collection has been meticulously put together via various textures and cuttings to inject a subtle rejuvenation, whilst maintaining all balances of elegance to re-create refreshing yet signature looks.
