Roberto Verino was born in 1945 in Verin (Ourense), Spain. After studying in Paris, in 1982, he created his first women’s collection and in 1983, he opened his first shop in Paris. He had showed his collections at the Cibeles Fashion Week in Madrid since 1984. In 1987, he reached an agreement with El Corte Inglés to set his collections in his department stores.

In 1990, he was awarded with the prize for the best Spring Summer Collection presented at the Cibeles Fashion Week and with the "T" for "Triunfador" from TELVA Magazine for the best Spanish designer. In the following years, he received immense success and has become one of the most renowned designers. Today, his design label not only includes fashion but also has fragrances, eyewear and interiors as part of their collections.
