'Thinking Big, Aiming High'

The brand's story started in the early 1920s, when David Doniger emigrated from his native Scotland to New York in search of fame and fortune. Using his original clan name and introducing its famous tartan as a design signature, Doniger brought the concept of a coordinated wardrobe to the all-American guy and soon became a favourite amongst the movers and shakers of the rapidly growing nation.

In 1993, it was taken over by the McGregor Fashion Group and developed further to include Distinction, a more formal and luxurious line that took its influences from Italian style, and then later, Womenswear, Junior and Twenty One by McGregor and McGregor now is a full lifestyle brand that encompasses clothing, accessories, footwear and home goods.
