In 2011, Humberto Leon and Carol Lim were appointed as Creative Directors of Kenzo. Humberto Leon and Carol Lim are the duo behind Opening Ceremony, the fashion and retail concept they founded together in New York City in 2002. The acclaimed duo is one of the most recognizable forces in international fashion.

Humberto and Carol are members of the Council of Fashion Designers of America and advisors to Parsons School for Design. Humberto is a member of the selection jury for the ANDAM fashion award in Paris. In 2010, Humberto and Carol won the President's Award for Excellence in Retail Innovation from The Academy of Art in San Francisco and Opening Ceremony won for Outstanding Brand Mix at the 2010 WGSN Global Fashion Awards.
