Made-to-Measure

From its beginnings in 1970, made-to-measure has been a guiding principle at ZILLI. In the image of these first models, jackets are revisited in the most beautiful of hides and offered to customers as made-to-measure with the opening of the first ZILLI boutique in 1983. The most sumptuous fabrics like bergusine sable, Canadian beaver, Scandinavian mink, Russian ermine, and Black Velvet chinchilla are used to dress a coat collar, line a jacket or a cardigan.

Magnified by the exclusive tanning methods of French and Italian craftsmen, the hides vie for beauty: suede, glazed lambskin, peccary, eel, python, Porosus crocodile, ostrich, deerskin, kangaroo are fashioned into jackets, accessories and footwear, all of which are cut, assembled and stitched by hand. With 300 exclusive fabrics, ZILLI shirts stand out from the crowd and become an object of desire. Reputed for mixing fabrics such as silk and cashmere, linen and cotton, or vicuna and silk, the House has pushed the boundaries in terms of softness, suppleness and smoothness in rich shades that hold the light.

The precision in the details is everything. A choice of 9 collar styles, 6 pocket styles and 13 different cuffs - taking into consideration a customer's habits in terms of watch-wearing, be it chronogram or extraslim - perfectly aligned stripes and fitted neck, hand-folded mosca, collars and cuffs pressed three times, discreetly folded lapels, gold or mother-of pearl collar stiffeners, Australian mother-of-pearl or lacquered buttons, hand-stitched monograms. Staunchly traditional, the House only designs suits with lined jackets, finely stitched belt-loops, personalized linings, welt pockets and open buttonholes.

Footwear

For footwear, the luxury of the materials is only equaled by the detail in the craftwork. Patent calfskin, alligator, box, crocodile and python seal the ZILLI mark on brogues, boots, derbys, loafers or sneakers created in the purest shoe-making tradition.

Denims

Beginning with the jackets, the wardrobe imagined by the House has continued to expand. Now staple, denim has been introduced into the collections. Here again, each piece is designed as a one-off. Cut in Japanese stretch cotton, with suede or crocodile inserts, lacquered buttons and rivets plated with 3 micron gold, ZILLI jeans guarantee a racy look, whether they are slim, straight or boot cut.

Knitwear

Knitwear remains faithful to this same made-to-measure spirit cultivated by the House. From crew-necks in fine mesh to duffle-coats in weaseland mink-lined wool, luxury is in the four-thread cashmere, a cashmere-chinchilla mix, or the exclusive designs in mercerized cotton.
