Roberto Cavalli is an inquisitive man, intrigued by beauty in whatever form it may be found. Therefore, he has a huge veneration for beautiful women. He married very young and had two children, Tommaso and Cristiana. However, in 1980 Roberto married the woman who would accompany him in his life as well as in his business: Eva Duringer. This was, once more, the result of one of his fortuitous and unexpected encounters. He met Eva in Santo Domingo in 1977 where he had been invited to take part in the Miss Universe panel, and ended up choosing her-Miss Austria-as his future wife. Eva immediately joined him in his business and worked with Roberto on putting together the history of the last thirty years of his career. She also gave him three beautiful children: Rachele, Daniele and Robin. Currently, Eva Cavalli is in charge of the creative department for all Cavalli lines.
