This was evident when Esprit’ Women Casual division created a limited edition range inspired by the fashion designs of Victoria Hill, Katie Hildebrand and Amélie Marciasini — this year’s Esprit Royal College of Art in London (RCA) winners. The design rooms at Esprit buzzed with energy as our designers honoured the challenge of turning the winning RCA collections into new styles.
Direction was taken straight from the individual designs of Victoria, Katie and Amélie, which were interpreted freely into a limited edition range by Esprit, consisting of three T-shirts in four colour ways, three jersey dresses, one sweater in three colour ways, six hand-knitted sweaters and denims in three colour ways. As the original designs showed extraordinary attention to texture, fabric and detail, this limited edition collection really pushes the envelope when it comes to what an Esprit garment is and can be.
