Innovative Collaborations
1. Gostwyck - The Collaboration
Established in Armidale in 1834 by Henry Dangar, Gostwyck Farm produces some of the finest Merino wool in Australia. Gostwyck strives to be the gold standard of environmentally sustainable practices and ethical treatment of animals. Maintaining the wellness of its animals is a top priority at Gostwyck. This makes the Merino wool brighter, stronger and softer. All Gostwyck Merino wool is unmolested guaranteed.
Gostwyck sheep farm in New South Wales, Australia. Made from the farm’s finest Merino wool, it is part of a limited collection of ultra soft clothing products. The collaboration marks the culmination of Esprit’s search for an ecologically friendly wool producer. With an inspiring history of green production, Gostwyck was the natural choice of partner. By teaming up with Gostwyck, Esprit takes a long tradition of environmentally conscious fashion one step further towards securing a sustainable future for our planet. This makes Esprit the first major retailer to develop a relationship with a Merino wool producer that requires environmentally and ecologically sustainable practices as well as ethical animal treatment. The clothes made from the Gostwyck Merino fibre are built to last, thanks to the fibre’s elasticity and high breathability. Each garment of the Gostwyck collection has a natural drape.
