Beatrice Trussardi has been the President and CEO of Trussardi Group since 2002. Upon assuming control of the group, she undertook a process of restructuring and streamlining its governance to make it more efficient and agile; by drawing on the skills of talented young professionals in every field where the group is active, Trussardi can now offer the very best in fashion, design, cuisine and art. Beatrice Trussardi reorganized the system of production and distribution to improve Trussardi Group's ability to tackle to the international market, which is increasingly global and subject to ever more rapid changes. Trussardi Group devotes keen attention to emerging markets with high growth potential, and its presence on the international scene is in constant expansion.

Through an innovative approach to technology and business culture, Beatrice Trussardi has made Trussardi Group one of the most innovative players on the international fashion scene, receiving many different awards, such as Premio Marisa Bellisario, the prestigious National Italian American Foundation prize, Premio Internazionale Amici di Milano and Premio Firenze Donna. In recognition of the work carried out by Fondazione Nicola Trussardi, in 2003 she won the Premio ICE - Impresa & Cultura award and in 2004, the Montblanc Arts Patronage Award, an international prize assigned every year to new figures supporting art and culture.

Beatrice Trussardi combines her business mission with social responsibility, through projects aimed at raising awareness of environmental issues, and more generally, issues related to modernization and envisioning a different future for our planet. These activities have led to her involvement with many research groups of enormous international prestige: in 2005, the World Economic Forum invited her to become one of 237 Young Global Leaders from 69 different countries, all influential figures under 40 from the world of politics, business, economics, art, culture, and the intellectual sphere, called on to draw up global strategies for building a better future (the Initiative 2020 project). In 2007, Beatrice Trussardi was also invited to join the Women's Leadership Board of the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts; the Board works to expand the role of women at every level of society through the contribution of important international leaders.
