Hounds Tooth

One of the most conspicuous post war trend of 60s fashion vocabulary, seems to have knocked the fashion doors once again. The comeback story of these classic and stylish checks has lended a glamorous air to the retro styles. This return is an extension of the classic British trench coat looks.

Going back to the history, this pattern used to be an indispensible element of the looks popularized by actresses in the 60s.Back then the variations of this style used to be popular among women like the teenage girls used to wear the exaggerated and bold ones while working women used to stick to the much scaled downed versions.
In 1959 Angela Mary Brewster, a runner - up Vogue’s model was photographed leaning against an open car full of children, keeping her cool in a chic Wetherall hounds tooth suit.
