Yukiko Hanai

After graduating from Setsu Mode Seminar, Yukiko Hanai established Atelier Hanai in 1964. She won FEC Award (Japan Fashion Editor's Club Award) in 1973 and Senken Buyer's Award in 2003. YUKIKO HANAI flagship shop is located in Aoyama, Tokyo. Her business expands to various license products as she firmly believes that design should be available for all aspects of life. Her works can be seen in diverse areas, including ballet and film costume designs. Also an expert in Japanese tradition, practices in the Fujima School of Japanese Dance and direct house of MushakoujiSenke in Tea Ceremony. She has been serving on the committee of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
