A designer of great distinction, Self taught, self made, matter of fact, person with deep sense of gratefulness to nature and life in general. Practicing fashion & lifestyle design for India & International markets and today a name in Indian fashion & lifestyle industry for design & quality.

After completing his studies in premium Institutes of India, National Institute of Fashion Technology and scholarship program in National Institute of Design, Deepak Singh started his career as an independent design consultant.

In the year 1999, He was commissioned by Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts to showcase his designs in International show during “Indian Handicrafts and Gifts Fair Spring, which established him as one of leading designers for export oriented designs, and was very well accepted by the foreign buyers.

After recognizing his efforts for Indian handicrafts industry he was commissioned together with German designer Mr. Alexander Zickendraht to offer services to “National Centre for Design and Product Development” for the promotion of handcrafted designs in International market.

Establishing his own firm “One Design Studio” in 2000, he continued working as independent design consultant and got rewarded by several projects from National & International organizations viz. United Nations & INBAR and soon developed a reputation as a fashion and lifestyle designer. Handicrafts industry has honored him with numerous Design excellence awards. His works can be found in scores of national and International publications.

He is best known for his expertise in infusing traditional with modern, colors with finishes and textures with originality, while still embracing natural.

He is the first Indian designer known to have worked with No. of International Designers on imparting training & designs to underpriviledged to earn there livelihood. He believes in “Giving is Gaining”. Deepak Singh is not only actively involved in all areas of fashion but his track record shows his equal strength in lifestyle designs. He is guest faculty to some famous design institutions of India. He is known to have put up shows for social awareness in youth & work in close coordination with self help groups.
