  • Salvatore Ferragamo received the Neiman Marcus Award in 1947.
  • Fiamma Ferragamo, eldest of Wanda and Salvatore Ferragamo's children is the only to have worked by her father's side in the last years of his life, becoming Manager of the Leather Division. She has received the following awards:
    • She was paid tribute by the internationally prestigious NEIMAN MARCUS AWARD for her creativity in 1967; exactly twenty years after her father had received the same Award.
    • Her talent received other international recognition such as the 'Saks Fifth Avenue Award' in October 1969
    • The 'Neiman Marcus Italian Fortnight' in 1975
    • 'Designer of the Year' from the American magazine 'Footwear News' in December 1988
    • 'Fashion Footwear Association of New York's Medal of Honor' in February 1993.
  • In 1999 won the GUGGENHEIM ENTERPRISE AND CULTURE PRIZE, awarded each year to the companies, world-wide, which invest most successfully in culture.
  • The City of Beverly Hills and the Rodeo Drive Committee announced Salvatore Ferragamo the winner of the Fifth Rodeo Drive Walk of Style® Award for the year 2006.
  • Wanda Ferragamo, wife of Salvatore Ferragamo is currently Honorary Chairwoman. She has received many prestigious awards for her work, both in Italy and abroad. Following are the awards:
    • The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) at the State University of New York conferred an honorary doctorate of Fine Arts on Wanda Ferragamo, honorary chairwoman of Salvatore Ferragamo S.p.A.
    • In 1982 she was elected 'International Woman of the Year' by the 'Committee of 200'.
    • In 1986 she was awarded an honorary degree in literature by the City University of New York.
    • She has been a 'Knight of Industry of the Italian Republic' since 1987.
    • In 1991 she received the 'Fashion Group Award' in New York.
    • In 1992 the 'Mary Ann Magnin Award' in San Francisco.
    • In 1995 she became an 'Honorary Officer of the Order of the British Empire' (OBE).
    • In 1996 she was awarded an honorary degree in economics from New York University.
    • In 1997 she received the Italian President's 'Qualità Italia' prize for the commercial achievements of her Company.
    • In 1999 she received the Sir Harold Acton award for her commitment to the diffusion of Italian culture.
    • Since 1976 she has also been an active member of the AIDDA (Association of Women Chief Executives).
    • In 2002 Wanda Ferragamo was named a 'Patron' of the British Institute of Florence, the highest non executive position in that institution.
    • In October 2002, she was declared '2002 Entrepreneurial Champion' by the 'Committee of 200' in the 6th 'Luminary Awards' in New York.
    • In 2004, she was awarded the highest of honours, Cavaliere di Gran Croce by the President of the Republic Carlo Azeglio Ciampi.
    • 2011: She was awarded The Fashion Group International's Legend Award at the 28th Annual Night of the Stars Gala
