Nike Air Max 1 VT: Aging Has Never Looked So Good
An Air Max 1 that gets better with time. Since the Nike Air Max 1 first landed in 1987 it has transcended its running roots and grown into a time-honored cultural icon. What started as performance innovation has now become a staple on the street. The Womens Nike Air Max 1 VT takes its inspiration from the idea that some things get better with age. The Vachetta leather upper is untreated and prone to creasing, staining and darkening in the sun. As the shoe ages, it develops a unique distressed patina and becomes personalized to the wearer. Nike’s Vac-Tech construction complements the Vachetta toe box with a flood of color on the rear three-quarters of the shoe that will remain relatively unchanged throughout the life of the shoe.

NIKE TENNIS

Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour Le
The Nike Zoom Vapor 9 Tour, designed by Nike innovation and design legend Tinker Hatfield, offers a clean and classic silhouette that has long held appeal, both on and off the court. It’s designed more like a running shoe, but with the incredible strength and lockdown fit needed for the demands of tennis. An innovative fit system uses “fingers” on the outside and a loop system on the inside. When the laces get cinched tight, the fingers mold to the shape of the individual foot, resulting in a customized fit that continues to adapt as the foot moves during a match. Wrapping the laces all the way to the bottom of the arch further enhances the glove-like feel and a synthetic-leather quarter panel overlay adds to the firm fit. Lightweight mesh throughout the shoe helps keep the foot cool.

NIKE ACTION SPORTS

Nike SB Paul Rodriguez 7
Paul Rodriguez, one of the most consistent and naturally talented skaters to set foot on griptape, demands a shoe that will perform superbly on different surfaces and angles. With his penchant for attacking ledges, rails, stairs and pretty much anything else he can find, he continues to push Nike SB designers into bringing new innovations to skate. Rodriguez's mastery of technical street skating pushed Nike SB designers to come up with innovative solutions for his latest signature Nike SB footwear collaboration, the Paul Rodriguez 7. A three-quarter Nike Lunarlon midsole makes even the most intimidating gaps conquerable. The seamless inner booty increases comfort during long sessions. And the heel-lock collar ensures a superior fit.

Three performance benefits distinguish the Nike Free Trainer 5.0:
1. Dynamic-fit technology for a glove-like fit
2. Natural motion design to deliver a barefoot-like feel with resilient cushioning
3. Aggressive rubber nodes on the sole that provide multi-surface traction

NIKE BASKETBALL

Nike KD VI
Precision meets performance as Nike introduces the KD VI, Kevin Durant’s sixth signature shoe. Upcoming KD VI Colorways

This story parallels the growth of Durant’s game this past season, his fifth in the league. This special green shoe debuts during a summer when Durant will visit China.

NIKE FOOTBALL

Nike CJ81 Elite TD cleat
Calvin Johnson's unique combination of size, strength and speed makes him a powerhouse on the football field and requires a new level of thinking when it comes to his gear. To that end, Nike designers worked closely with Johnson to create his new signature Nike CJ81 Elite TD cleat, combining dynamic natural motion engineering in the upper with a new lockdown support system and hybrid collar design for 360 degrees of explosive speed. Nike designers created a new lightweight proprioceptive collar that allows full freedom of movement without sacrificing lateral ankle stability and support – a mid-cut that plays like a low. The CJ81 Elite TD features a new dynamic midfoot arch strap created to provide side-to-side and heel lock-down as well as cradled support.

The diamond star pattern across the forefoot and side panel of the cleat upper provides a purposeful body-led solution that allows the upper to conform to the foot providing a more customized fit. The full-length speed plate includes a Pebax® outsole for lightweight durable strength and a 12-cleat pattern for precision traction and control on real or artificial turf. Four supplemental studs in the forefoot help to enhance traction and when making quick cuts.

Nike for Celtic Football Club
Celtic will open a new chapter in their long and illustrious history with a brand new home kit for the 2013-2014 season. On the new home shirt, each of the club’s iconic green hoops is made of up seven smaller hoops, which are inspired by some of the club’s greatest players — such as Jimmy Johnstone and Henrik Larsson, who wore the No. 7 shirt. The shirt features a modern crossover V-neck collar, and a woven label inside the neck. The home shorts are white with a green stripe down each side, and the white home socks feature the new hoop design with seven fully engineered thinner hoops as featured in the shirt. The kit is made from recycled polyester as part of Nike’s commitment to produce performance apparel with reduced environmental impact. The shirt and shorts of each kit are made from up to thirteen recycled plastic water bottles. The kit weighs just 150 grams, 23 percent lighter than previous Nike kits. It also boasts a 20 percent stronger knit structure and significantly improved stretch.

The fabric uses Nike Dri-FIT technology to draw sweat away from the body through the fabric where it can evaporate, to keep players cool and dry. Ventilation zones, consisting of tiny laser-cut holes, feature under the arms on both sides, as well as at the shorts waistband, to allow additional comfort and cooling. A mesh panel across the entire back increases air circulation. The shirt has been crafted with bonded T-bars to support the seams at key points and inner welded seams with a clean finish to give a more striking appearance, while also increasing comfort and performance. To complete the ultimate playing uniform for modern football, Nike Pro Combat baselayer is supplied to be worn underneath the match-day kit, offering players greater comfort and impact protection. The Nike Pro Combat range of long-sleeve and short-sleeve tops made of sweat-wicking fabric allows players to keep cool and dry in hot conditions, and warm and dry when the weather becomes cold. The slider shorts feature extra padding and thigh protection to absorb impact so players can go to ground and tackle with greater confidence.

NIKE RUNNING

Nike Free A-Z collection
This season Nike Free presents five new styles across running and training – the Nike Free 5.0+, 4.0 and 3.0 in running; the Nike Free TR Breathe for women’s training; and the Nike Free Trainer 5.0 for men’s training.
The idea for Nike Free emerged in 2001, launching years of study, testing and design to make a shoe that delivered the benefits of natural motion while protecting the foot. More than a decade later, the 2013 running shoes retain the well-known flexibility of Nike Free’s articulated outsole, and introduce three new upper designs for enhanced natural motion:
Nike Free 5.0+: Dynamic Nike Flywire technology provides secure support without added weight.
Nike Free 4.0: Utilizes no-sew overlays and a tongue-wrap fit for stitch-free comfort.
Nike Free 3.0: Nike engineered mesh improves fit and breathability with looser patterns where ventilation and stretch are needed and tighter patterns in areas where support is key.
