Summer 2013 collection a full range of accessories: lurex-effect evanescent pashmina shawls, elegant necklaces and bracelets of shells and glass beads complete the simplicity of a top, bon ton hats, and streamlined bags made with luxury leathers reminiscent of the Grace Kelly style of the 70’s.

This style has developed into a series of small pieces with a strong personality, extremely pleasant to wear and able to communicate a great sense of fluidity because of the lightness of the fabrics. There are 100% pure cottons and lines with precious blends like the cashmere with silk declined in a wide range of colours form granite pinks to crystal blue in watercolor effects with smoky beiges and whites.

The collection consists of garments designed to be worn in a classic way that is unconventional at the same time, and is conceived to offer a complete look that includes: tops with squared and oversized silhouettes, shirts made in light poplin enriched with stitching, jersey jackets with a waist-hugging silhouette, waistcoats in technical fabric, and trousers in a fluid linen-silk fabric or soft cool wool enriched with silk and crepe details. There are also ultra-feminine pieces illuminated by light-catching facets and embellished with satin embroidery and trimming. The result is a “casual elegance” that is glamorous yet easy to wear at the same time. Finally, the lines are soft and sensual, oversized or slim.
Certain garments are gauze woven for an evanescent effect; some are perforated, other present “pleated Kimono” forms or block colours and fine fabric overlays. But the season is also about fade effects, watercolor stripes on precious satins, or single-color stripes on rich sequined fabrics for easy-to-wear styles but with original twist.

Bon Ton ballerina flats, for those looking for practicality and comfort, are in patent leather or soft nappa suede, trimmed with linen and gros-grain. Ultra-flat suede or leather sandals are standout in bright fun colours, embellished with sequin accents and decorated with tiny metal studs. Exquisite detailing is always a signature feature of Fabiana Filippi and that is certainly present in these sandals.

No season is complete without the ever-popular Androgynous lace-up shoes, although the summer must-have is the minimal chic moccasin loafer with tassel trim and fabric bound edgings. Finally, the high heels and platform styles in the luxury suede and linen give a sensual touch to the line.
